A bright green Lamborghini Revuelto just became very intimate with a Suzuki S-Presso in Indonesia. The result wasn’t pretty.
The $1 million hybrid hypercar rear-ended the compact Suzuki at what appears to be highway speeds, completely ripping off its hood and destroying the front crash structure.
Crypto Crash in More Ways Than One
The Revuelto—adorned with “Bitcoin” graffiti-style markings—suggests its owner might be more successful with cryptocurrency than with controlling 1,001 horsepower.
Damage extends well beyond the front end. The passenger side took a beating, with the mirror, quarter panels, and signature scissor door all showing significant battle scars. One rear wheel appears mangled, indicating a likely secondary impact with a guardrail.
Most concerning? The airbags apparently didn’t deploy despite the severity of the impact.
Hybrid Hypercar, Total Loss
This isn’t just any Lamborghini. The Revuelto represents the brand’s technological pinnacle:
- Three electric motors complementing the naturally aspirated V12
- 1,001 hp total system output
- 8-speed dual-clutch transmission integrated with the hybrid system
- Carbon fiber monocoque with aluminum subframes
That sophisticated hybrid architecture makes repair prospects especially grim. Rebuilding this technological tour de force would likely cost more than most people’s houses—if replacement parts are even available for the recently launched model.
Third Time’s the Harm
The Indonesian crash marks the third documented Revuelto wreck since the model’s launch. Previous incidents include:
A delivery mishap in Lebanon where one slid off a flatbed truck.
An Italian driver who got too friendly with a guardrail, causing significant side damage.
Social media footage shows the Indonesian wreck is by far the most severe.
The Revuelto was designed to be Lamborghini’s future. For this particular example, the future arrived much sooner than expected.
