Aston Martin isn’t satisfied with merely building the fastest SUV on the planet.
The British marque is cooking up something more extreme for those who think the DBX 707 is too tame. Because apparently 697 horsepower isn’t enough in a family hauler.
The Numbers Game Intensifies
The current DBX 707 already demolishes the 0-60 sprint in 3.1 seconds while carrying your golf clubs and a Labrador.
It packs a Mercedes-AMG-sourced 4.0-liter V8 that delivers 900Nm of torque and pushes the two-and-a-half-ton beast to a 193 mph top speed.
The upcoming DBX S will push those numbers even higher.
How much higher? Aston isn’t saying yet. But the ultra-luxury SUV arms race demands it.
When “Too Much” Isn’t Enough
The hardcore DBX enters an increasingly crowded field of absurdly powerful SUVs:
- Lamborghini Urus Performante: Track-focused with aero tweaks and weight reduction
- Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S: German precision with sledgehammer power
- Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT: The Nürburgring SUV lap record holder
Each one more ridiculous than the last. Each one selling like hotcakes to buyers who demand the impossible: supercar performance with room for the kids.
What To Expect
The DBX S will likely get the full performance treatment.
Stiffer suspension. Louder exhaust. More carbon fiber. Stickier tires. Bigger brakes. The usual suspects.
The real question is whether Aston will tune the Mercedes V8 beyond the 707 hp mark or swap in something more exotic.
Either way, it’ll command significantly more than the standard DBX 707’s $253,000 asking price.
Expect a full reveal later this year with deliveries starting in 2026.
The super-SUV arms race shows no signs of slowing down. Neither does the DBX.
