Hennessey’s latest creation doesn’t whisper. It screams.
The Texas tuner just unleashed its SUPER VENOM Mustang with a simple formula: take Ford’s 5.0L V8 and crank the dial past 11.
The result? A Mustang packing 850 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque – a 70% power bump over stock. Physics doesn’t stand a chance.
When Mustangs Attack
Hennessey didn’t just bolt on a supercharger and call it a day. The SUPER VENOM’s heart transplant includes:
- High-performance supercharger system forcing atmosphere into those eight cylinders
- Larger fuel injectors and upgraded fuel pump to feed the beast
- Custom engine management calibration to keep everything from exploding
The performance numbers tell the story: 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and quarter-mile times of 10.9 seconds at 133 mph. That’s 1.1 seconds quicker through the quarter than a stock Dark Horse.
Ford engineers built a pony. Hennessey turned it into a predator.
Carbon Fiber and Exclusivity
The SUPER VENOM wears its aggression openly with a “VenomAero” carbon fiber body kit that’s functional, not just decorative. It manages airflow for both cooling and handling – critical when you’re pushing nearly 900 horses through the rear wheels.
Each car wears a “91 Icon” livery, commemorating Hennessey’s founding year. Available in black, silver, or red, it’s subtle for a car that’s anything but.
Production caps at 91 units globally. Exclusivity has a number, and it’s not round.
Pick Your Poison
Hennessey offers the SUPER VENOM treatment for both GT coupe and Dark Horse platforms.
Choose your transmission: 10-speed automatic for absolute speed or 6-speed manual for those who prefer to work for their thrills.
“Over the years we have only branded our most potent cars with our ‘Venom’ trademark,” says John Hennessey, founder and CEO. The name isn’t marketing fluff – it’s a warning label.
Each car comes with Ford’s factory warranty plus Hennessey’s own three-year/36,000-mile guarantee. Order directly from Hennessey or through authorized Ford dealers.
The SUPER VENOM doesn’t redefine the Mustang. It just cranks everything that makes a Mustang great to dangerous levels.
That’s exactly how it should be.
